Joan Meyer Agility Workshop January 7-8 2012
Joan began her agility career in 1993. She is
nationally known for the wide variety of breeds and the number of dogs
she handles. She has earned over 300 Agility titles on dogs ranging from
the 8” class to the 30” class. Her dogs range from a Norfolk Terrier to
GSD’s. She was a Silver Medalist in the 2001 Agility Word
Championships, in Portugal. She has been a finalist for the AKC
Nationals, the USDAA Nationals and the AKC Invitational too many times
to count! Joan is also an AKC judge, and works closely with many
students at all levels at the Triune Canine Training Center.

1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Small dog - Big Heart! We all know it’s different handling a small dog. Let’s have Joan show us how to do it well.
Sunday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Which Cross, Where? Handling choices and options, emphasizing Front and Rear crosses. Suitable for all competing teams.
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Intermediate/Beginner Handling Skills – When you just know you can do it better! Refine those crosses, and learn to make good handling choices. Let’s get Joan’s take on the skills that matter.
